Day 2: Ready, Set, Think!

Hey guys,
So basically we’ve been thinking (don’t worry our brains are still functioning…for now) and we decided that we are probably going to contact a mall for our scavenger hunt. However, there are some specifications that are a little difficult to meet, like it can’t be too crowded (wouldn’t want anyone getting lost), it has to be somewhat contained (so basically no malls that are miles and miles long with TONS of shopping to do), and it has to be pretty neutral (I mean what are a bunch of teenage boys going to do in girly shops right?). We think we may have found an area that would be perfect, but we still have to contact a bunch of people to see if they would even be willing to let a bunch of kids run around (even though that’s what kids do at malls anyways *sigh*).
Anyways, while we are waiting on that, we’ve been brainstorming some ideas for fundraising events. We don’t really have a budget, but we are trying to keep the costs minimal, considering that we will have to fundraise all the event costs. Soooo, we created a long list of potential fundraising ideas for the moment:
-         Food truck night: I mean who doesn’t love gourmet food trucks? The only problem is where to find them, and where to put them? And how DO you even fundraise with these massive things?
-         Movie night: It IS a cute idea, buy a ticket, bring a blanket, maybe even a date, and you just get to sit back and enjoy some movie (though the actual movie choice might be a little difficult to settle on, especially when one of us like mushy chick flicks  (yuck) and the other won’t settle for a movie unless there’s some action and a couple of wild chases)
-         Bake sale: Yummy!
-         Car wash: Though it might be a little chilly…..
-         Dance: A dance floor, a dj, and some good snacks….all that’s left is the people to PARTAY!
Right now we’re just debating the success rate of the following events, and whether or not they are actually possible to complete, and we are totally open to new ideas. Thankfully, we just finished our final proposal (YAY!) so now, let the fun begin as we tackle our long long long list of things to do.
Keep you posted!
